In this third take at the elevator pitch I tried to hit the points I have realized from feedback and self review I hadn’t. I not only took into account the feedback from the last elevator pitch but also in other posts throughout the course, where people mostly questioned the novelty of the idea. Indeed it is very hard to point out how it is exactly different and what is it in the other platforms that is not working in 1 minute or less, but I tried to compact best I could. One comment I received that was simply misleading is that people are happy with the textbook exchange the way it is; it is not true, I came with the idea exactly because I saw in many people the frustration with using that page as a mean of exchanging books.
Lirim,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the pitch, now you just need to keep practicing. I did have to go and read your idea napkin to get a better understanding of your product. I'm not sure if I missed it in the pitch, but once I read the napkin and found out is was an exchange program, it all made since. Keep up the good work.

Lirim,
ReplyDeleteI thought you had a well preformed elevator pitch. I fully understood the concept of your idea and thought you presented the idea well. As you were giving your speech, it appeared as though you were reading it off your monitor. This could have been because you never broke eye contact from one location. Anyhow, you can check out my pitch @ http://gainzvillebloggers.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-numero-tres.html
Lirim,
ReplyDeleteI thought that your presentation was clear and professional. The only concern I have is that I was not sure what your idea was at first. But after reading your text portion of this assignment, I clearly understood. If you speak just a little slower, I think it would make your pitch perfect! Overall, keep up the great work.
