To those who haven't had the chance to read my previous posts, my idea is creating a marketplace for college textbook exchange, where you can list the books you no longer need and find the books you need for next semester, at a supposed lower cost that you would find in another alternative place (whether in store or online). In the the third and final round of interview my interviewing strategy was based on getting full and unbiased feedback, so as instructed I used an index card where I explained a little bit of technicalities of the service that I was proposing and how the exchange of books would logistically work (the steps to be taken in the websites). After the index card would be read, I would simply ask the potential customer what's their opinion without asking any specific question at the beginning. However after they had given their independent opinion I did ask occasionally some questions in an attempt to maximize feedback.
This is a great idea for college kids because books are such a large cost in my opinion. I feel like students don't normally think of this automatically because they're parents will pay for them, they have scholarships for them, or they get them used on the low. But I do think your idea makes it more convenient to get cheaper textbooks. I liked that you asked about using social media for textbook exchange because that's what I first thought of, but I think you could make it extremely user friendly. This idea is brilliant in the sense that it will save students fortunes each semester. Why waste all of your money on books when the chances are great that you will rarely use that book. As a student when I think of finding cheap textbooks I immediately go to Chegg.com because of its comparisons of the prices compared to other sites. The one thing I would add is that you should have put the paragraph before the videos I just found myself confused in the video interviews and not understanding until late in the video.
